tly continuing MRT Phase 2 (North-South) construction, from Bundaran HI to Ancol. Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo mentioned, in supporting this construction work, Jakarta Government issued Jakarta Governor Decree No. 92/2021 on Determination of Location for MRT Kota-Ancol Barat Lines Development."It is a part of our joint efforts to unravel congestion in Jakarta, we are encouraging people to take advantage of public transportation and switch from private vehicles. In addition, it also stimulates and encourages economic growth through provision of efficient transportation services, including improving environment quality," he stated as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.
Here is Traffic Engineering Management During MRT Phase 2 ConstructionHis side will also procure land to build facilities and infrastructure for MRT Kota-Ancol corridor. It is in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) No. 19/2021 on Land Acquisition for Development for Public Interest. According to plan, it needs land with area around 196,292 m², located in the following locations;
1. Mangga Dua Station, Mangga Dua Selatan Urban Village, Sawah Besar Sub-district, Central Jakarta
2. Ancol Marina Station, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan Sub-district, North Jakarta
3. West Ancol Station, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan Sub-district, North Jakarta
"Land acquisition is planned for 2021-2023. While physical construction is planned to be carried out in 2023 after land acquisition is completed," he said.
Funds used for land acquisition is from Jakarta City Budget (APBD). While the placement of MRT Station infrastructure is adjusted to the field condition which supported by technical studies from PT. MRT Jakarta.
